For Auction Ninja sellers

Your auctions live on Auction Ninja.Your business lives everywhere else.

Your consignors ask for a full report of last year's payouts. Your buyers ask if you got their new address. Your own staff ask you which spreadsheet to trust. AfterHammer is the one place the whole business lives, from drop-off to payout, and the questions start answering themselves.

Built in conjunction with a seven-figure Auction Ninja house running weekly sales.

It runs alongside your Auction Ninja account without ever touching it: listings leave here ready to upload, results drop right back in, and in between you see exactly where every item sits. The gold steps carry live demos. Click around in them.

01

Consignors sign on

Every consignor gets a login under your name and colors, and watches their items sell and their money move in real time, so they trust the statement instead of phoning you.

What they see their portal, live status, e-sign, unpaid lots
  • Have a website? We set up your portal on its own subdomain, your domain, your colors, your name on the door
  • They see their items move: received, listed, sold, paid, in real time
  • They approve statements from their phone, with a real e-signature that holds up
  • They see sold-but-unpaid lots too, so "why is my check smaller" answers itself

Photograph & catalog into an auction

Shoot everything, then tag whole photo batches to a consignor at once. Each item picks up a lot number in your next sale.

03

Titles, written for you

Point a camera at anything and the title, description, estimate, tags, and category all draft themselves in your house style. A 300-lot auction catalogs in an afternoon.

  • One photo in, a full listing out. Title, description, estimate, tags, and category, all drafted at once.
  • Titles in your exact format, with warnings before the portal cuts one short
  • Categories mapped to the Auction Ninja list, so the upload lands in the right place every time

Drop it into Auction Ninja*

AfterHammer preps your whole auction, every listing and every photo, numbered and in order. You download it from AfterHammer onto your computer and upload it from your own Auction Ninja portal, and the auction is ready in about 30 seconds.

*Requires Auction Ninja support to enable CSV upload and FTP access. The AfterHammer team will walk you through getting this set up.

05

The auction runs

On Auction Ninja, exactly like today. Your bidders notice nothing.

06

Bring everything back in

Export your results and invoices from Auction Ninja and drop them in. Every order is created, every buyer matched, and every email kept for good, so you only ask once.

07

Orders route themselves, then ship or hand off

Filter every order by status in a click, so whatever needs work, packing, charging, a label, jumps to the top with the fix right on the row. The demo below is live. Click around.

How the Desk works workflow, charging, labels, tracking
  • Any workflow. Pack first, or charge and print labels first. No forced sequence.
  • Charge your way. Autocharge the card or send a Stripe invoice; unpaid orders stay tracked.
  • Live rates, batch labels. Insurance and signature follow your house rules automatically.
  • Pack from big photos, ship, done. Tracking flips each order to Shipped at the carrier's first scan, then Delivered on its own, and flags a failed delivery red.

Pickup day, whether you are one person or five.

Pull orders in the back by photo, release them up front with an ID check and one tap, and every screen stays in sync, whether one person runs it all from a phone or you split the two jobs across your whole crew.

How pickup day runs pulling, staging, release, walk-ups
  • Pull by photo. Tap each item as it comes off the shelf, or blow one up full-screen to check it.
  • Tag where it's staged, "Table B" is one tap, and the front table sees it instantly
  • Release in seconds. Check their ID against the address on screen, confirm the items by photo, and release with one tap. There's a 10-second Undo.
  • Unpaid at the door? Tap cash or card; it stamps who took what and when, and release unlocks
  • Walk-ups are fine, if an order was never pulled ahead, grab the items off the same photo checklist right at the table

Pay your consignors

Drop in your auction results and every lot finds its consignor, your commission terms apply themselves, and every statement drafts itself, so the math is right and nobody gets paid twice or missed.

How payouts work locking, unpaid lots, supplementals, e-sign
  • Statements lock the moment they send, so a number your consignor already saw can never quietly change
  • Buyer didn't pay? The lot is excluded, and your consignor sees exactly why, in writing
  • Late payments roll into a supplemental statement, automatically, and nobody gets paid twice
  • Consignors review, approve, and e-sign online, then get the branded PDF by email
Sound familiar?

You are not disorganized. Your tools are.

The portal shows you each sale, but nothing connects to anything else. AfterHammer is the connective tissue: every item, every order, every dollar, one continuous record.

The portal runs auctions. AfterHammer runs the auction house.

What you need
The AN portal
AfterHammer
Export your orders
No export at all. Orders exist only as PDFs you print, an auction at a time or one by one.
Any filter: customer, unpaid, state, month. One click to Excel.
Email your buyers
Emails withheld. Your options: the portal's antiquated messaging system, or digging through old inbox threads.
Ask once. Every buyer email is kept on file, forever, and you can email the whole auction at once in your own HTML template, with the reply-by and ship-by dates filled in for you. Winners with no email on file get a text instead.
Know your consignors
One mixed list. Search names by hand, export one at a time.
Full CRM: terms, pipeline, sub-consignors, history.
Pay your consignors
Terms in PDFs, math in the calculator app, statements via random emails.
Automated statements, locking, supplementals, e-sign.
Catalog an auction
One lot at a time in the inventory screen: drag photos, type, tag, and sort into categories by hand.
Titles generate automatically from photos. Your whole auction uploads in 30 seconds.
Collect shipping charges
One invoice at a time, or makeshift workarounds on other sites: asking buyers to PayPal or Zelle, then trying to keep track of who has paid.
Your choice: one-click autocharge, or auto-email everyone a Stripe invoice with a due date you set. Declined cards and open invoices stay tracked until they're paid, so shipping never slips through.
Buy shipping labels
USPS flat-rate boxes only, small, medium, or large. One at a time, details typed by hand.
Live rates, any service, batch-bought from the Order Desk. Insurance and signature set per order; arrival emails send themselves; a failed or returned delivery flags itself red on your Pipeline.
See where every order stands
You try to keep track in miscellaneous spreadsheets or some organization tool.
One keystroke filters every order by status: charged, labeled, packed. Whatever needs work sorts first; the fix is one click.
Run pickup day
A printed list and a prayer.
Pull in the back by photo, release up front with an ID check and one tap, every phone synced live.
See your money
A total at the top of a page.
What you owe consignors, what buyers still owe you, aging, per-auction results.
Own your data
It lives in the portal.
Export everything, anytime. It's yours.
Additional features
  • Email all winners at once, plain text or your own HTML template
  • Automatic texts to buyers with no email on file, via the TextMagic integration
  • Every lot carries its own AfterHammer ref # into Auction Ninja, so re-sorted, retitled, and relisted items still bind to the right record
  • Scheduled backups, exportable any time
  • A full ledger of every action taken on the site, stamped with the user who took it
  • Advanced keyboard shortcuts, every one of them a ? away

AfterHammer works in conjunction with your Auction Ninja account. It doesn't directly interface with it, it doesn't replace it, and it isn't affiliated with it.

From a consignor

I would never go back. I want to do more business with any auction house running this.

As a consignor, this is a total gamechanger. I can track every item I have consigned right through the pipeline, from intake to sold, and see all of my payouts in one place. I never have to ask where something stands, and I never have to take anyone's word for it. That kind of transparency is exactly what earns a consignor's trust, and it is why I will happily send more to any house that runs it.

Questions

Fair questions, straight answers.

Does this replace Auction Ninja?
No, and it isn't trying to. Your auctions, your bidders, and your payments stay on Auction Ninja exactly as they are. AfterHammer handles everything around them.
Does AfterHammer log into my Auction Ninja account?
Never. You upload your own files and export your own results; AfterHammer never even asks for your Auction Ninja login. Your account, your credentials, always.
We're pickup-only. Is this built for us?
Yes, happily. Make pickup your default and every auction flows straight to Pickup Day: pulling and tagging in the back, ID checks and one-tap releases up front, every screen live. And shipping is right there whenever you want it.
Buyers pay before pickup. What if someone pays cash at the door?
Yes. An unpaid order shows a collect banner right at release: tap cash or card, and it stamps who took what and when. The release unlocks the moment it saves.
Is my data private?
Completely. Your data is never bought, sold, or shared, and every house runs on its own private system with its own logins. It stays yours in every sense: Excel exports whenever you like, one-click backups, and weekly snapshots.
What do my consignors see?
A portal wearing your name and your colors. Their items, their statements, their payment status, and a proper e-signature approval flow.
Can my staff have their own logins?
Yes. Invite them from Settings in under a minute; each helper gets their own login and sees only the screens you grant. Most houses hand the back room Pickup Day and keep the money screens to themselves. Removing access is one click, and there are no shared passwords to chase down.
Who built this?
An Auction Ninja seller. AfterHammer comes from DGW Collectibles, the seven-figure Auction Ninja house running weekly sales in New York. We built it for our own auctions first, and every feature exists because the spreadsheet version of it finally broke.
Early access

Run the whole house from one place.

Founding spots are limited, because we onboard every house personally. If the portal is where your patience goes to die, come see the other side.

No demo-call gauntlet. You'll hear back from the founder.
